CLASS SCHEDULE

The following information outlines the classes available at Let's Learn Dog School.
If you have any questions regarding course descriptions or which class your dog should be placed in, please contact the school and we will be happy to discuss this with you.
To register for any class, email or telephone the school at 905-910-0326.

-Classes will not be held on statutory holidays; therefore some sessions which would normally be 8 weeks in length will be reduced to 7, and the course cost reduced accordingly.
FOOTWEAR - Please be sure to bring indoor footwear to classes.
You might also pack a towel for your dog's paws.
Only dry feet allowed on the training mats.

dThe school will be closed for all classes, rentals and privates from Friday July 30 to Sunday August 8th.
Classes will resume on Monday August 9th.

**PUPPY LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS

ALL PUPPIES are trained using positive reinforcement in the form of treats and/or toys.
We recommend small bits of meat or cheese and strongly discourage packaged pet treat products which are usually very high in chemicals and artificial fillers and have no nutrient value.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Private obedience classes are available.
Whether a family Pet or a Competition dog, private classes can be requested for a dog at any level of training who would benefit from individual instruction/tutoring.
This could be to correct a problem, get over a training hump, or to fine tune skills required for trial.

$30 per half hour

FEES:
As of the new session in August due to HST:
Unless otherwise indicated, all classes are $225.00 /HST included for an 8 week session.
Multiple dog fee- see Ricki
-Each one hour class includes 45 minutes of instruction and 15 minutes for the student to work independently with his/her dog.
- drop in's are available at $28.00 per class however this option must be pre-arranged & approved by Ricki

New Title - Time to Celebrate with your Class!

As much as we enjoy celebrating by indulging in treats at class we think that it might be better (for our hips and society) if instead we do something for the less fortunate. We've come up with a way to do this that will benefit pets in need.

We suggest that instead of purchasing snacks or sweets for your classmates, you instead use that money to make a donation to the Farley Foundation, which is administerd through the OVMA (Ontario Veterinary Medical Assoc.) .

There will be a Farley donation box in the training hall and we encourage you to celebrate your accomplishment in this way, or by independently donating to the charity of you choice.

About The Farley Foundation

It's every pet owner's worst nightmare. A beloved pet needs veterinary care, but the owner can't afford treatment. For many seniors and people with disabilities, this scenario is a sad reality. That's where the Farley Foundation steps in.

The Farley Foundation helps sick and injured pets that belong to low-income seniors and people with disabilities.

Upon approval of submitted applications, the Foundation offers financial assistance to help cover the cost of providing necessary veterinary care for pets belonging to seniors receiving the Federal Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) or people with disabilities who receive the Ontario Disability Support Payment (ODSP), and who cannot otherwise afford treatment for their pets.
