Ricki Abrams Let's Learn Dog School

Dogs are unquestionably man's best friend and humankind's most enduring companion. To them we owe our attention, love and guidance. We, at Let's Learn, pride ourselves on strengthening the relationship between you and your dog; and leading you both to success in competititve sports.

Our training programs are focused on developing skills for both dog and handler. The dog is taught to be happy in a learning environment. Handlers are taught the skills they need to steer the team with confidence.

Training is based on reinforcement and a positive attitude to guide our students (both canine and human) to success. We have spacious matted facilities, and small class sizes that provide an intimate environment, optimal for learning to help yourself and your dog and specific to YOUR needs.
Thank you for visiting our site, and please feel free to contact us at any time,

RICKI ABRAMS Ricki is one of Ontario's top competitive dog trainers today. She has over 30 years experience in Obedience training, and has successfully competed with her own dogs on an International level. Her dogs accomplishments speak for themselves, attesting to the passion she has for this highly competitive and demanding sport.

Ricki has been awarded multiple High in Trials and has earned numerous placements in the Dogs in Canada Top Obedience Dogs award system. She has successfully trained and handled many of her dogs to their MOTCH titles, as well as earning an American UDX title and a Nambr UD title.

With so many years of experience behind her, Ricki has worked with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments, all with their own unique characteristics. This is a challenge Ricki meets with enthusiasm. Due to her keen understanding of the Canine mind, her experience, training knowledge and well honed teaching skills, many of Ricki's students go on to enjoy similar successes under her tutelage. The honor of competing at the annual HIT of HITS in Ottawa almost always sees not only Ricki, but a sampling of her students in attendance.

Ricki is a proud Papillon owner and is also slave to the wonderfully charismatic Jack Russell terrier, 'Holly
